Confirmation

We offer confirmation classes for those who are in the 8th grade and older. Confirmation is a one-year program that includes a retreat, writing a paper, and choosing a sponsor. There are two meetings with the child and their parents and one meeting with the child and their sponsor. There are service hours, but we try to complete them during class time. If a person is unable to register for the yearlong program or has not received the prerequisite Sacraments, please contact Jill Bueno (Jbueno@assumptionsp.org, 651-789-6925) to discuss options.

The sponsor’s purpose is to mentor, accompany and help the teens live according to the catholic faith.
